Child's bedroom damaged in blaze

A CHILD’S bedroom was severely damaged by fire after clothes were left too close to an electric heater.
The fire broke out at a home in Mangravet Avenue, Maidstone at 5.30pm Sunday.
Two engines from Maidstone Fire Station attended after a smoke detector in the house went off.
Nobody was hurt.
