A chiminea has been blamed for starting a fire in a garden in Loose.
It is thought the heat from the patio heater set light to the decking, which spread to a garden fence.
Two fire engines were called to Melrose Close at 12.30pm and crews spent half an hour putting it out.
The heat nearly spread to the back of the house, but the French doors contained the fire to the outside of the property.
