Maidstone Rock Choir recorded songs at the world famous Abbey Road Studios

More than 100 members of a rock choir got to record at world famous recording studios Abbey Road.
Members of the Maidstone Rock Choir had the once in a lifetime chance to record four tracks at the studio in London, made famous by the Beatles.
The group, who usually meet at St Augustine’s Academy in Oakwood Park, are led by Nik Haley.

They recorded Bon Jovi’s Living On a Prayer, including an arrangement done by Mr Haley, Fall At Your Feet by Crowded House and Budapest by George Ezra.
Member Jenny Langrish said: “It was awesome. We were all in awe of it all.
“We were a bit taken aback and couldn’t believe that we were actually there. It was an amazing day.”
The choir’s ranks have recently swelled to more than 130.
Rock choirs from Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Orpington also got to record there.
