Maidstone Citizens Advice needs your help.

The bureau has made it through to the final round of a national competition for project-funding run by the NatWest’s Skills and Opportunities Fund.

CAB’s project is called Make It Count. It aims to reach families living in isolated rural locations within the boroughs of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, to help them with budgeting and money management issues.

The scheme would provide support sessions for 500 residents in the rural areas in outreach community settings.

To win funding of up to £35,000, the scheme has to beat the other four short-listed in the South East region in a pubic vote.

Bonny Malhotra, CEO of Citizens Advice Maidstone said: “You, your family and friends can all demonstrate your support for our project by voting for us.”
