Brandon Knight, found unresponsive at Source Bar, Maidstone died due to hanging, inquest told

A young mixed martial artist who was found unresponsive at a nightclub died as a result of hanging, an inquest has heard.
Brandon Knight was discovered by another clubber at The Source Bar, Maidstone, in the early hours of Sunday, January 13.
The welder fabricator was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead that morning.
Tributes have since poured in for Brandon, who was born in Gillingham but lived at Playstool Close, Newington, Sittingbourne, the hearing at Maidstone's Archbishop's Palace was told.
Assistant coroner Katrina Hepburn said a post-mortem gave the cause of the 20-year-old's death as hypoxic brain injury due to hanging.
A GoFundMe page set up to raise £1,500 for the former Rainham Mark Grammar School and Waterfront UTC student's funeral has now surpassed £5,000.
The full inquest was adjourned until April 28.
