Bus hits scaffolding in Earl Street, Maidstone

A bus collided with scaffolding in a town centre this afternoon.
The accident happened in Earl Street, Maidstone, near an entrance to the Fremlin Walk shopping centre shortly before 4pm.
No injuries have been reported.
A police spokesman said a bus had been involved.
He added: "The incident affected some scaffolding in Earl Street and the scaffolding company will be attending.
"Police and fire crews initially attended as a precaution, but have now left the scene."
Traffic is said to be back to normal.
A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said one fire engine attended, spending just 12 minutes at the scene, before leaving the matter with the police.
