A county lines drug pusher has been jailed after being apprehended by undercover cops while in the middle of suspected deal.
Plain-clothes officers spotted two known drug users county out cash in an alleyway in St Phillips Avenue, Maidstone, and watched to see if they were about to purchase their next hit.
When Wesley Odjoma appeared to meet the pair, police moved in and searched the suspect.
They found a mobile phone with evidence of county lines dealing of heroin and cocaine.
Odjoma was arrested, and a subsequent search of his home in Clyde Road, Croydon, revealed electronic scales and a razor with traces of cocaine on it.
The 23-year-old later plead guilty to charges of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin following his arrest in June 2020.
At Maidstone Crown Court on Friday he was jailed for three years and two months.
Investigating officer DC Andy Julier said: "Another London dealer has found to their cost that they cannot deal drugs in our county with impunity.
"All those involved in the supply of heroin and cocaine should think twice before they choose to ply their trade in Kent.
"Our officers patrol in plain clothes and uniform and will swiftly identify them and gather sufficient evidence to bring them to justice."
