Fifteen drivers fell foul of police during a crackdown on speeding and inconsiderate drivers.
Crews from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit visited roads in Ditton, Bearsted and Ashford following calls from residents about speeding motorists. This was carried out between Saturday February 18 and the following Monday.
Roads patrolled included the A20 in Ditton, Ashford Road in Bearsted and Maidstone Road in Ashford.
The drivers who received traffic offence reports, were mainly collared for speeding.
These reports have been passed on to Kent Police’s Central Processing Unit, which will decide what penalties could be imposed.
Among those stopped was a 33-year-old man from Park Wood in Maidstone.
As well as being stopped for speeding Ashford Road, he was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis.
A 36-year-old man from Ashford also had his vehicle seized for not having a valid licence or insurance. He was also reported for driving at 91mph on the M20 near Charing.
Another man, aged 23 and from Aylesford, was reported for travelling at 64mph in 30 mph section of Ashford Road for failing to stop when requested to do so.
Sergeant Chris Wade, from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "The main purpose of this enforcement action is to educate drivers on the importance of driving safely.
"All too often we are called to attend serious, often fatal, collisions that are caused by drivers speeding, not paying full attention to the road or driving vehicles that aren’t roadworthy.
"Some of the motorists stopped said they did not realise they were speeding. I would ask drivers to remember that when travelling on roads with street lights, the limit is 30mph – unless it specifically says otherwise."
