Maidstone: Crash blocks A229 at bottom of Linton Hill near Maidstone Road

A man was taken to hospital following a crash at a notorious junction at the foot of Linton Hill.
The A229 was partially blocked at the junction with Maidstone Road because of the collision, which happened at 11.10am and involved two cars.
Paramedics were called and a man was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury with cuts to his head.
Police remained at the scene while one of the vehicles was recovered. It had re-opened by 3pm.
