13:30, 26 January 2016
A crash involving a motorcyclist and a lorry caused significant delays close to one of Maidstone's busiest junctions this afternoon.
An ambulance and a response car were called to the scene close to close to the entrance of the Village Hotel by the Running Horse roundabout at 1.15pm.
They treated a woman who was a passenger on the motorcycle at the time of the collision. She was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with leg injuries.
Cllr Dave Naghi (Lib Dem), who was passing by, said traffic is at a standstill and emergency services are in attendance.
Firefighters were also called.
There were reports of long delays on nearby roads.
