An accident closed a main Kent route earlier this afternoon.
A crash on the M20 heading towards London caused delays near junction 8 for A20, Leeds Castle.
The incident meant traffic queued as motorists head out for the Easter weekend.
Drivers were diverted via the exit and entry slip roads of the motorway.
The road has since reopened.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police officers were called at 1.30pm on Sunday 1 April to a report of two separate collisions on the London bound M20 close to junction 7.
"Officers are at the scene along with other emergency services. Injuries have been reported.
"A diversion is in place while the incident is dealt with."
