Crews tackle roof fire in Blythe Road, Maidstone

Two fire engines were called to a house fire in the early hours of this morning.
The incident in Blythe Road, Maidstone, saw flames tear through the roof area of the building.
Crews wore specialist breathing apparatus and used a jet to put out the blaze just before 1am.
It is thought it was caused due to an electrical fault.
No injuries have been reported.
