Coxheath: Fire in coppice near Amsbury Road

Firefighters are tackling a blaze in a coppice near Coxheath.
Crews were called to the scene near Amsbury Road around 3pm this afternoon.
They were alerted by a member of the public who had dialled 999 and then directed them to where about 150 sq m of woodland was alight.
Fire crews from two engines are using hose reels and water from a hydrant to tackle the fire in an area measuring about 150m x 150m.
They are understood to remain at the scene.
