The team that cancelled a Christmas pantomime has said customers will get refunds.
Promoter Danny Wright confirmed this morning that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves show will not be doing any more shows.
It was meant to be set at The Friars, Aylesford, but had to shut down after contractors claimed they had not been paid in full.
The decision left some families heartbroken, after they were left with no plans, including a father with a brain tumour who was looking forward to taking his grandchildren out and a group of more than 60 left high and dry.
It has lead to an outpouring from panto's and venues across the county offering support in any way they can.
A statement from the Maidstone Panto team said: "Firstly everybody who had purchased tickets for the cancelled shows have now received emails on how to retain a refund from all our ticketing sources. Lots of people have already done this successfully. Please check Spam Folders.
"Secondly, stories from a range of media companies, are being circulated about the reasonings for these happenings.

"None of which have been true, we understand people are wanting answers as to why our event did come to an end, but speculation and rumours cannot be verified and we hope to obtain resolutions and make formal statements once we can.
"Our main focus is to resolve all with our cast, crew, front of house staff and all involved, who have obviously been through a lot, quickly over the last 24 hours, at no fault of their own.
"Lastly, we have seen many different Theatres around the area offering discounts and relief on tickets. Thank you.
"Many have contacted us directly, understanding the stresses of producing a show, without having to build something to put it in. These theatres have kindly organised different codes etc so please contact them for more information.
"Again, we apologise for the outcome of these events, and we hope to resolve all soon.
"All contacts shall now be made via boxoffice@maidstonepanto.com."
