Cute Kids: More reasons to enter

10:44, 19 June 2008

There are now even more reasons to enter our Cute Kids contest.

We are looking for gorgeous babies and children to enter our photographic competition.

The Cute Kids competition is being held in association with The Royal Star Arcade shopping centre, in Maidstone, and Fraser Portraits.

The KM has teamed up with the Royal Star Arcade, which is offering prize money of £2,000, and Fraser Portraits, which will supply trophies and framed portraits to the winners.

Now The Golden Boot specialist family footwear shop in Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone, is also offering a range of prizes.

The Royal Star Arcade's prize money will be split into £1,500 for the overall winner, £200 each for the two category winners and £50 each for the two runners up.

The Golden Boot will now give a £250 gift voucher to the overall winner, plus £100 gift vouchers to the winners of our two categories: one for babies aged up to 18 months, and the other for children aged 18 months to nine years.

Runners up in both categories will receive a £50 gift voucher.

In addition, Fraser Portraits will be supplying trophies plus super framed portraits to the winner and the category winners.

A professional photographer from the company will be at the Royal Star Arcade between 10am and 5pm from July 18 to August 2.

There is no need to book in advance - just take an entry form along to the shopping centre and hand it to the photographer.

After all the photographs are taken we will feature them in the Kent Messenger and ask our readers to vote for their favourites. The winners and runners up will then be chosen from the shortlist by out team of judges.

Last year about 500 cuties entered before little Tayla Gilham from Headcorn was eventually crowned victor.

An entry forms can also be cut out of this Friday's Kent Messenger.
