09:15, 04 January 2016
Emergency services were called to a collision involving a cyclist and a car close to the entrance of a busy school.
The accident was reported shortly before 8am, just as thousands of youngsters made their way into the Oakwood Park site, off Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, for the first day of term.
Motorists experienced delays while police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
The cyclist was treated at the scene but didn't require hospital treatment.
Temporary traffic lights further down Tonbridge Road added to the delays.
One lane of the busy road was closed outside Rianos Party Venue to allow engineers to carry out repairs.
