Drivers faced delays after two lanes of the M20 were closed following an accident.

Two lanes were blocked on the London-bound carriageway between junction 8 for Leeds Castle and and junction 7 for the A249 Detling Hill.

Highways traffic officers and ambulance crews were sent to the scene of the accident, thought to have involved a lorry and a car.

All lanes reopened at about 8.30pm.
