Police investigate town centre assault

Detectives are investigating a reported assault where the victim was repeatedly kicked on the ground in Maidstone.
A man in his 20s was said to have been knocked to the floor in Week Street, near the junction with King Street, in the early morning of Monday, May 7.
The assault occurred just after 2am.
Once on the ground, the victim was kicked repeatedly and suffered bruising and cuts and lost some teeth, so that he needed hospital treatment.
His attacker was white and about 5ft 10in.
