Driver, 81, killed in Tonbridge crash

An 81-year-old driver from Sevenoaks has died after his car left the road and hit a road sign in Tonbridge.
Police were called to the junction between Hadlow Road and Canon Lane at 10.25am today.
Paramedics also attended but the pensioner was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 79-year-old woman has also been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have now launched an investigation to find out what caused the crash and a post mortem is due to take place.
The road was shut for an hour-and-a-half.
