Driver in his 30s flown to hospital after two cars crashed near Coxheath

A man has been airlifted to hospital after two cars crashed.
Fire crews found had to cut the man, who is in his 30s, free after he was found trapped in the vehicle at Heath Road at Boughton Monchelsea.
He has been taken to a London hospital by the Kent Air Ambulance. His injuries are described as 'serious but not life threatening.'
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to get the man free after the accident, which happened just before 4.30pm.
The road has been closed between Wierton Road and the junction with Brising Lane.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and police were in attendance. A team from Kent Highways is dealing with an oil spill, following the smash.
