A driver had be cut out of their van after a crash on the M20.
Fire crews and paramedics were called just before 7am to the coast-bound carriageway between junction 5 for Aylesford and the A20 and junction 6 for Maidstone and the A229.
The van driver, who was trapped inside, had to be freed by firefighters using hydraulic rescue equipment, before being handed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The smash sparked long queues on the motorway throughout the morning, which was also exacerbated by problems on the M2 and A249.
