Police are searching for a Land Rover driver who ran from the scene of a crash.
Officers were called out to Fairmeadow, Maidstone after a Land Rover and Audi collided just after 5.30am this morning.
The Audi driver was rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver of the Land Rover who had left the scene on foot."
The crash shut two lanes on the southbound carriageway and knocked over a set of traffic lights. Both lanes have since reopened.
KCC Highways said: "The traffic signals that were damaged have been made safe, with further repairs required at a later date."
Motorists are being warned to expect delays and approach with caution.
There are more road closures in Maidstone later today for the Mayor's Parade.
