Two arrested after drugs haul seized by police in Wallis Avenue in Parkwood, Maidstone

Drugs and cash have been seized after police arrested two suspected drug dealers.
Officers on patrol in Wallis Avenue, Maidstone, spotted a suspicious Vauxhall Corsa which was later found unattended with cannabis visible inside on Goldings Way.
Two men, aged 35 and 30, who were walking back towards Wallis Avenue were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.
When police searched the vehicle they discovered 23oz of cannabis, 20 wraps of suspected cocaine and 12 bags of suspected ketamine. They also seized £1,005 in cash.
The 30-year-old man, who is from Maidstone, was later released pending further investigation.
The 35-year-old, who is from Chatham, remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
