Elderly motorcyclist dies after collision with a car

A 67-YEAR-old motorcyclist died following a head-on collision with a car in Hawley Road, Dartford, on Bank Holiday Monday.
The man, who was riding a Triumph motorbike has not been named. He is believed to have lived in the Dartford area.
An inquest is due to be opened on Monday.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the accident, which happened shortly before 12.30pm, should contact police on 01622 600970.
• A 38-year-old motorcyclist who died from serious head injuries in Dartford on Christmas Eve has been named as Ian Armstrong, of Wadham Road, Putney, London.
Mr Armstrong died in hospital after he collided with a roundabout close to the entrance of the former Joyce Green Hospital, Bob Dunn Way.
Police are keen to trace another motorcyclist who was with him, but left before officers attended. The accident happened just before 10pm. Anyone with information should call 01622 600970.
