Kitchen blaze at home in Yalding

Two fire engines were called to a fire in a kitchen last night.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames at the house in Benover Lane, Yalding, and then cleared the property of smoke with a high-pressure fan.
One person was treated at the scene for suspected smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
It’s believed the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
The fire started at 6.15pm on Sunday. Firefighters were able to leave the incident at 8pm.
