Rival estate agents are hoping they will be the ones to provide a home for the Arun Cup, ahead of a charity football match.

Organised by Ward and Partners, the annual tie will take place at Maidstone United’s home ground, The Gallagher Stadium in James Whatman Way, on Sunday, July 30, and includes teams from the companies two divisions, as well as Douglas Allen and Cubitt and West.

Gates open at 10.30am ahead of kick off at 11am. There will also be entertainment, including a cheerleading display and magician, food stalls and a bar.

The money raised will be split between Action Medical Research, which funds life-saving research into medical conditions affecting children, and ellenor which offers care and support to those facing a terminal illness and their families. Last year’s match raised £3,000 for the two charities.

Senior manager at the Loose branch in Loose Green, John Cameron, said: “After the success of last year, we hope to see many of you there supporting colleagues and genuinely enjoying a beer and a great family day out.”

Entry is £4 for adults, children go free. Alternatively text Arun93 £4 and send this to 70070. For more call 01622 744 067 or email loose@wardandpartners.co.uk.
