Tickets available for Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny at Maidstone Studios

Tickets for one of the most eagerly-awaited end-of-year parties are now available.

Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny is to be filmed at Maidstone Studios again and the draw for a place is open now.

The former Squeeze member, who lives near Rochester, will be playing alongside his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, as well as a number of guests and performers.

Last year’s guests included British rock and pop legend Rod Stewart, Raye and the Sugababes.

The year before, George Ezra, Rebecca Lucy Taylor aka Self Esteem and Cat Burns took part.

It has not yet been revealed which artists will be joining him this year.

The musician will be pre-recording the event on Wednesday, December 18, and it will be broadcast on BBC Two on New Year’s Eve.

Those who wish to join the celebrations are being asked to enter a draw, where tickets will be selected at random. You can enter here.

Fans can apply for a maximum of two tickets and must be over 18.

The ballot closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday, December 4.

If you are successful in the random draw you will be guaranteed seated admission, providing you arrive at the stated times and with appropriate photo ID.

Doors open at the studios in Vinters Park from 6.45pm, with the recording starting at 7.45pm and lasting for up to three hours and fifteen minutes.

Audience members must come along dressed smartly in New Year’s Eve attire, which must also be dark clothing.
