09:05, 10 May 2013
A fallen tree has blocked a village road overnight.
Yesterday's strong winds caused the large tree to fall in Gallants Lane, East Farleigh, at about 4.40pm.
Police and Kent Highways were called to the scene and closed the route between Lower Road and Heath Road.
The road is likely to remain shut for most of today (Friday).
Birling Road and Broomfield Road were also blocked last night by fallen trees.
