12:36, 05 October 2012
A fallen tree has closed a main road.
The tree fell this morning in Cranbrook Road, Hawkhurst, and blocked both ways of the route.
Kent Highways arrived at about 8am to clear the scene.
On arrival, workers discovered the tree has caused more damage than they expected.
They now need to remove three other trees which have been deemed unsafe.
The road will remain closed for the rest of today.
