A family of three trapped in their car by flood water have been rescued.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called just before 11.30am to assist two adults and baby stuck in their car in Stickfast Lane in Sutton Valence, near Maidstone.
Two fire engines and a water safety unit went to the scene where crews managed to get the family to dry land and moved the car out of the water.
Fire crews are advising people to avoid driving or walking through flood water as it could be deeper than it looks.
People should take note of any signs about road closures due to flooding, to call 999 if they get into difficulty, and not take any necessary risks.
