A faulty cable has left more than two dozen customers without internet service.
Half a dozen Openreach vans filled Jubilee Square, Maidstone earlier today to make the repair.
An Openreach spokeswoman said: "Our teams are currently repairing a faulty cable in Maidstone.
"The cable needs to be replaced and our engineers will be working around the clock until it’s done.
"Approximately 25 customers are out of service and we expect the work to be complete by this Friday.
"We’d like to thank the people of Maidstone for their patience while we complete these essential repairs. If customers are having problems with their phone or broadband, they need to contact their provider in the first instance so that we can be notified."
The presence has been scaled back to one van.
Openreach did not inform locals of the work as it not the local internet provider.
