Fire crews tackled a bedroom fire in The Platt, Sutton Valence, this morning

The bedroom of a home in Sutton Valence was badly damaged in a fire this morning.
The fire in the house in The Platt broke out at 9.46am. Crews using breathing apparatus and a hose reel and hydrant tackled it.
The room was destroyed by fire and the first floor of the property was smoke damaged.
Two crews were called and the blaze was put out at just after 10.40am.
The cause is being investigated.
