Fire crews have tackled another grass fire in the county today.
Crews on four engines were sent to the blaze in Green Lane, Platts Heath, Maidstone.
They were called at 12.22pm and used hose reel jets and a fogging unit to extinguish the flames and prevent further fire spread.
The operation ended at 1.54pm.
No casualties were reported and the cause has not been confirmed.
It is one of many grass fires crews have dealt with in the last few days.
Trees and grassland caught fire at Lydd Ranges on Romney Marsh yesterday, and a field in Gravesend was also alight.
So far this year, Kent Fire and Rescue Service has attended more than 400 grass fires and wildfires, in comparison to just 44 in 2021.
