Why were fire engines in Hubbards Hill, Lenham last night?

Firefighters were called to Hubbards Hill, Lenham last night to tackle a large fire in a field.
Two hectares of stubble was well alight when crews from two fire engines arrived at about 7.20pm. They used a hose reel and beaters to extinguish the blaze and left the scene shortly after 8pm.
