Kent Fire and Rescue Service called to fire in third floor flat in York Road, Maidstone

Fire fighters extinguished a fire in a third floor flat yesterday afternoon. (Sunday)
Kent Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 4.54pm and sent two engines to York Road in Maidstone, near Mote Park.
Crews used special breathing apparatus to get to the scene and a hose reel jet.
Once the fire was out a high power fan was used to clear smoke and crews left 5.15pm.
