Maidstone: Fire on Lower Stone Street

Fire crews were called to a small fire in Maidstone town centre this afternoon.
It was reported to Kent Fire and Rescue that a heating vent had begun to smoke shortly before 12.30pm.
There was a small fire in the property on Lower Stone Street as a result, but it was extinguished before crews arrived at the scene.
