Firefighters were called to Lenham after a blaze broke out in the ventilation ducts of a commercial building.
Two crews were scrambled to Dickley Lane at 5.40pm yesterday and fought the flames with the help of jets, thermal imaging cameras and new equipment including a fog spike.
The technology is used to punch holes into a structure and spray a super-fine mist that can dramatically reduce the temperature and spread of a fire.
There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is unknown.
