Caravan fire on Hampstead Lane, Yalding

Firefighters were called to a derelict building on fire in Yalding.
It happened on Hampstead Lane near the railway station and quickly spread destroying a caravan.
Two fire engines attended the scene just after 5.30pm.
Firefighters eventually brought the blaze under control just before 7pm.
They said the building suffered extensive damage.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and it is understood no one was injured.
Southeastern Railway tweeted about the incident.
