Firearms suspect in custody

A 45-year-old-man has been arrested in Tunbridge Wells on suspicion of firearms offences.
Police closed off Upper Grosvenor Road for several hours last night (Friday) after ambulance crews called them at 8.20pm to a block of flats, believing a man was in possession of a gun.
He was arrested at 1.30am this morning and remains in police custody.
Officers thanked residents for their patience while they dealt with the incident.
