A woman was treated by paramedics after a fire broke out in the bathroom of a flat in Maidstone.
Firefighters were called to the ground-floor property in Coombe Road at 5pm yesterday.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to put out the flames.
The woman was given oxygen after suffering from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters also used a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no remaining hot-spots while removing smoke from the building with a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The two fire engines sent to the blaze were able to leave the scene just before 6pm.
There were no other injuries and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
