Four men - two from Tonbridge - have been charged with conspiracy to burgle in relation to an attempted Borough Green ATM raid

Four men have been charged after an attempted robbery of a cash machine in Borough Green.
The men were arrested last Thursday, November 28, at the Barclays Bank in Station Road and appeared at South East London Magistrates Court the following day.
Gary Smith, 38, of Norton Crescent, Tonbridge, and Jason Selwood, 28, of Welland Road also in Tonbridge, have been charged along with Danny Smith and Luke Cassidy, both 24, of no fixed abode.
They have all been charged with conspiracy to burgle and remanded in custody. The quartet are due to appear next at Croydon Crown Court on Friday, December 13.
The charge is in relation to the attempted raid on the ATM on November 28 and a previous attempt at the same location a week earlier, on November 21. The four arrests follow a joint operation by officers from the Met Police Flying Squad and the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
