Four people have been arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply.

Three men and one woman were arrested by officers during an early morning raid at Callisto Court, in Maidstone.

Police stormed the property just after 6am yesterday.

Among the seized items were scales, mobile phones and what is believed to be a stash of the Class A drug.

The foursome have been released on bail until October.

DC Nicola Brown said: "When we carry out raids like this it is not just about the initial result.

"We have arrested four people and seized drugs, but the knock-on effect is that it reduces anti-social behaviour, it stops drugs being sold on the streets of Kent and it disrupts illegal activity.

"Anyone who suspects that drug offences are taking place should report it to us, and be reassured that we will investigate thoroughly."
