Four people in Maidstone are celebrating after winning £1,000 each.
The neighbours netted the windfall when ME14 3BH was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “I’m thrilled for our winners today. What great news for them, I hope they enjoy their winnings.”
This draw was promoted by Woodland Trust which has received more than £13 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. It is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, owning around 1,000 different woods across the country, protecting a wide range of plants wildlife and welcoming visitors to wander along the many winding pathways.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes.
More charities will be able to apply for funding in August.
