Friends of a mum-to-be who died suddenly have come up with the perfect way to honour her memory.

Courtney Robinson, from Barming and Meg Wills, from Kings Hill, will be leaping out of a plane at 12,000 feet in memory of Rebecca Theodore, who died in September.

The 24-year-old, who grew up in Kings Hill, was pregnant with her unborn son, Noah, at the time.

Miss Robinson said: "Becca was so full of life, and she really did live life to the absolute full. Anyone who knew her will know that she was so wild, and truly one in a million. She is missed so much.

"A couple of months ago a few of us were on a night out in Maidstone when we said 'what can we do to remember her?'

"Becca was so crazy, we thought a skydive would be such a good thing to do. She would have loved to have done it herself."

The young woman suffered from a berry aneurysm, a swelling usually found at the base of the brain where the major blood vessels meet, and died in her sleep on September 15.

Before she died, Becca moved to North Yorkshire with her family.

Her mother, Andrea Sadler said the family felt lucky to have had Becca in their lives for 24 years.

Posting online, she wrote: “We were all looking forward to this little special addition to join our family. He now rests in heaven with his really proud mum who was so looking forward to being a mum."

Friends in Kent felt very much the same, so much so they organised an event in her honour.

More than 80 people honoured Becca's memory at The Farm House Pub in High Street West Malling in September.

Since her death, thousands of pounds has been raised by friends and family for the Stroke Association.

The current tally stands at more than £5,000, but Miss Robinson hopes they can raise even more.

The mother-of-one said: "Becca's family raised a lot of the money up in North Yorkshire, we wanted to do something here in Kent where she used to live.

"We're both feeling pretty nervous, you get trained the morning of the skydive, but I'm feeling really excited."

Miss Robinson and Miss Wills will be skydiving at Headcorn Aerodome on July 7.
