PROUD parents gathered together to help celebrate the academic success of students at Maidstone Grammar School For Girls when the school held its annual GCSE certificate ceremony.
Guest speaker was local businesswoman Clare Emblin, director of human resources at Berkeley business centres which have a base in Teston, near Maidstone.
As well as praising the students for their examination success she also spoke about how skills and knowledge can be applied to the work place.
The school this year achieved a 99 per cent pass rate with 67 per cent of those in the top three grades.
