Grass fire in Detling

Fire fighters from Maidstone station extinguished a grass fire in Detling this afternoon. (Tuesday, August 13)
One crew was called to Hockers Lane at 1.10pm and it took 40 minutes to put the blaze, which was on approximately half a hectare of grass, out.
