Kent Police charge two people after Maidstone raid uncovered £30,000 of goods

Two people have been charged after luxury goods worth £30,000 were seized.
Officers investigating the alleged distribution of drug money discovered the stash in a Maidstone house.
KMTV went along to the raid.
They found a number of items including designer handbags and televisions at the Tonbridge Road address, back in June.
A search of a nearby parked car found a quantity of suspected cannabis buds in a tub of protein powder and a plastic package containing suspected cocaine.
On Friday detectives charged Ashley Nation with concealing criminal property and offering to supply cocaine and cannabis.
The 35-year-old, of Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates court on Saturday.
At the hearing he was further remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 25.
Laura Hughes, 37 and of Wiverton Road, Sydenham, was also charged with concealing criminal property.
She has been bailed to attend Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on the same day.
