Hard shoulder closed on M20 between junctions 8 and 9
11:19, 01 August 2013
Motorists are advised to expect minor delays on the M20 between junctions eight and nine today (Thursday, August 1) and tomorrow.
The hard shoulder is closed to allow a team from the Highways Agency to clear vegetation on the side of the road, and will be cleared on both days by 3.30pm.
Today the clearance is taking place on the London bound stretch of the road and tomorrow it will be coast bound, starting from 9am.
A spokesman from the Highways Agency said they chose the time with the least amount of cars on the road to cause minimum disruption to users.
