The mother of a 21-year-old who was found beaten to death has paid tribute to her only son who she says was always willing to help those in need.
Homeless Razvan Sirbu's body was found in woodland in Tovil, Maidstone by dog walkers on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination revealed he had died from blunt force trauma to the head and body and yesterday evening detectives arrested two people on suspicion of murder.
In a statement issued today, Mr Sirbu’s mother said: "My only son Razvan was full of mercy and empathy; he would always want to help others in need.
"Razvan was very shy and very good. Razvan was very well behaved and listened to people intently. He had a lot of love from me and my wider family.
"Razvan was my only child, so he was spoilt by the whole family. He was also the only grandson to my parents."
Two men from the Maidstone area, aged 18 and 19, remain in police custody.
