Police helicopter called to Upper Fant Road, in Barming, Maidstone, after reports of a man carrying a knife

The police helicopter was called out to Maidstone last night to search for a man who was reportedly armed with a knife.
The crew headed to Upper Fant Road, in Barming, just before 9pm, to reports of an argument between two men.
One of the people involved in the dispute claimed the other man was carrying a weapon, believed to be a knife.
Patrols searched the area for the suspect but were unable to trace him.
A spokesman said an investigation to establish his whereabouts are on-going.
